Chef Ed has been cooking privately and professionally for more than thirty years but he learned the basics from the most intuitive cook he ever knew...His Mom! Her love and patience taught Chef Ed not only how to cook but to cook for others. She taught him to put love into every dish he creates.

He refined his skills cooking for family and friends while spending more than 30 years in industry as a machinist and machine builder (22 yrs. for one company) He cooked after work and on weekends and never lost the desire to cook for others. Then he turned to his co-workers as taste testers with the only condition that they be honest in assessing the food.  Weekend barbeques, small dinner parties and family get togethers have always been the most fun for him.

"Food is a very intimate experience. No two people have exactly the same tastes. No two people enjoy the same level of spices, or the same flavors. That's why being a personal chef is ideal for me. I get to cook for more people but in a very intimate and personal way. I interact one-on-one with the client, adjusting seasonings, menus and schedules to fit their tastes and lifestyles. I enjoy following traditional recipes as well as creating my own dishes."

Chef Ed takes any opportunity to sharpen his skills with classes at local colleges and cooking schools.
